Howdy folks!!! I am finally back in my home state of Texas! I am looking forward to this up coming year to conduct training classes in long range specifically and getting back into competition shooting. I am using two locations to conduct training in which the owners have been gracious enough to let me train at their facilities, the first being Consolidated Training Group in Weatherford, Tx. (hour west of DFW) which features a 1000 yard Range, and Fossil Pointe up in Decatur (hour NW of DFW) which features an 800 yard steel range.

At Fossil Pointe, I will be teaching basic and intermediate carbine and basic and intermediate precision rifle classes.
CTG, I will be teaching 3-day Precision rifle proficiency and 2-day precision Carbine class.

I would encourage anyone that is interested in long range shooting to contact Sean. He's a great teacher, very knowledgeable in Long Range Shooting (as he should be considering his background). I attended several of his classes while he was on the East Coast teaching and it boosted my interest in PRS type matches along with the knowledge to be competitive. If your in the market for top class training, Sean at Vapor Trail would be my recommendation hands down.

I'd like to offer a "Local" recommendation about Sean. I took his 1 Day Basic Precision Rifle course at ETTS in Waxahachie in July of this year. I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and his teaching style. He does an excellent job of explaining and demonstrating the fundamentals of Precision Rifle shooting. He is very attentive to his students, and continually offers guidance throughout the day. It was a very beneficial day for me, helped my identify my errors, provided the solutions and plenty of time and rounds down range to apply his teachings. I was very pleased at the end of the day, to be ringing steel at 1200 yards with a bone stock M1A and factory Federal Sierra Match King 175g ammo. The other thing that has been a huge plus, is his followup after the class. I have had several questions pop up...and although I hated to bother him, I would send him an text or email, and have always received a prompt response. If you are a new shooter, or a veteran shooter looking for a great environment and excellent tutorship to hone your skills, you really should look into one of the classes he is offering. I plan on taking a couple more after the 1st of the year.

I am another student of Sean’s. I took his long range hunters course at ETTS. Knowledgeable, funny, serious, all mixed in together. I’d highly recommend him to anyone from newest of the new, to any know it all who might be open to learn something new.

I am pleased to announce that I have gotten to team up with the guys at Consolidated Training Group in Weatherford, Tx. to be able to use their private training facility which features a 1000 yard range with various steel, pistol carbine ranges, helo body, rooftop simulator and open field areas for training. I will also be hosting a precision rifle match at their facility on St. Patricks day, and I will put that in the competition section this week.

I have a 2 day Intermediate Precision rifle and 1 day Basic Precision rifle classes coming up in February at Fossil Pointe sporting grounds, go to the web site for more information.
