Description: This class will provide the student with the knowledge to be more accurate and consistent in their shooting ability and push the limits on what they thought possible with a hunting style rifle. This is our most popular class in which students come out for a great day of shooting engaging steel targets out to 800 yards. Using techniques developed by Marine Snipers during the Vietnam War, using the same style rifles and optics holding over their targets to engage out to extreme distances. You will be coached in marksmanship, optics usage, MILS or MOAhold overs, and wind calculations for repeated hits at distance. Round count 120 rounds The only requirement for this course is that students bring premium or match grade ammunition this will add to the accuracy of your rifle.
Course goal: Student upon completion of this course will be knowledgeable in the fundamentals of marksmanship, how it affects accuracy, how to field bore sight and zero, how accurate zeros affect accuracy at distance, basic ballistics, record bullet drop for each distance, understand wind and how to adjust, make quick corrections to missed shots. This course will concentrate at long range hunting distances of 400 yards and extending out to 800 yards.
Range objectives:
Bolt action or semi automatic rifle with optic (prefer external Adjustable elevation and windage knobs)
Round count: 120- 160 rounds of match grade or Federal Premium hunting ammunition, any questions about ammo just email me. (Bring more ammo if you can)
Magazines if needed
Bipod or bag rest
Shooting mat
Notebook with pen or pencil
Bring rifles in soft case if possible
Safety glasses (clear not shaded) and hearing protection
Instructor- Sean Little
Mr. Little spent 12 years in the United States Marine Corps spending most of that time as a Scout Sniper with several deployments overseas and combat deployment to Al Anbar, Iraq in 2004 as a sniper team leader. After military service Mr Little spent a short period of time, 2 and a half years, working in the firearms industry at the prestigious Heckler & Koch Inc. Receiving his first firearms instructor certification while working at HK as a precision rifle instructor, and multiple armorers certifications as logistics manager for the international training division. Mr Little then began his law enforcement career being hired by US Capitol Police in 2002 just after 9/11 and assigned to the prestigious first responder unit at the US Capitol building. After returning from his Iraq deployment was assigned to the firearms training section where he currently serves to train the departments officers in handgun, shotgun, and carbine training on a semi annual basis. Mr Little also assisted in the training of the departments CERT (SWAT), in advanced precision rifle, CQB, and night vision applications. As a competitive shooter Mr. Little has been shooting sniper matches since 1996 and has placed in the top 10 several times over the years, competing in local steel, F class, Palma, and the Precision Rifle Series in 2014.

- Establish the capability to shoot to the accuracy of the rifle
- Understand how to bore sight in the field
- Be able to manage supported positions
- Shoot from 100 to 800+ yards and hit steel targets effectively
