Question, do you think the AD-RECON-SL-20MOA 34mm TAC R model would be a good choice to use with a S&B 3-20 ultra short scope and be able to swap between an ar10 in 308 and a tikka t3x ctr in a x ray chassis ?

i don't see why not. it might look a little funny on your bolt action though since it's cantilever style. but it would work great for your AR10

also not sure if it would put your scope too far forward and you wouldn't be able to get proper eye relief on your bolt action

I'm sorry I got mixed up. the SL version is NOT the cantilever style.
