I am about to start load development for my new custom .223AI, my preferred bullets are the Berger 80 grain VLD's and 75 grain A-Max. I favour these bullets as they both have an excellent record for grouping and accuracy and I know a lot of people use the 75 grain Amax for hunting despite them not being designed for hunting, does anyone on here use the .22cal 80 grain Berger VLD's for hunting ???

I have had experience with 80 grain Berger varmint bullets in .243 and they were outstanding for grouping and long range accuracy, but how well do the VLD's work in .223 ???

Your thoughts would be very much appreciated.

I will be using the bullets on rabbits, hares, foxes and munties.
