Yes. They work ok. I’ve used them in the mountains and it helps a little. Not perfect but I can get weather and send texts most times. Wouldn’t trust for a phone call

Around here the oil/gas fieldtrucks and the pipeline guys go with the "Overland" model on the site you linked.

Yes. Won't help you if there's ZERO reception but it will say boost 1 bar to 3 or 3 bars to LTE data for example

Helps alot to gain data in low signal.areas
