This is a rare example of a prototype WWII German Gustloff-Werke Waffenwerk Suhl pistol chambered in 7.65mm Auto (.32 ACP). This pistol is #17 of approximately 240 produced. The exact number produced is unknown and the history behind them is fascinating. The pistol does NOT have the original magazine but Walther PP magazines can be modifed to feed.
This particular weapon has the zinc aluminum "potmetal" frame, steel slide and plastic bakelite grips. The pistol appears to be in 100% mechanical form and function and ready to fire, sans magazine.

Gauge - 7.65 Browning (.32 ACP)

The following links will take you to an article produced by the American Society of Arms Collectors and a fantastic overview of the pistol by Forgotten Weapons.
