I was thinking of that, but I"m sooooo enamored with optical sights and the ability to pick which of the squirrel's eyes to shoot through, the the pinhole and globe of the Soule can only be good enough to pick the head off.

I"m lookin fer old school precise.

I like the idea of vintage but prefer modern perforance so much, kinda like a Chevy Belair with a blown motor in it.

You get the outside lines of the car, but the power of a monster motor.

The Low Wall has an octagonal barrel, but is chambered in .17 HMR.

If you want excellent optics, find a Unertl small game in 4 or 6X.

He also sells Unertls and many others.

The Leatherwood Malcoms are also good and have a good price point. They hold up on the big boomer BPCRs so you should have no problems

Here is the Gunsmith GUild raffle for this year, again my smith was involved with this - he does flawless work after 35 years in the biz.

Notice the scope tho?

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for the resources. I did find the Unertl guy already but the Leatherwood link is new.

I'm probably going to go with that.

NICE Rifles guys.
