My mom is retired from the VA, I spent a fair amount of time there as a kid. Even at 10-12 years old, I was pissed to no end at how the vets were treated. There were still a bunch of WW 1 vets there then.
Last time I was in a VA hospital I was on leave after jump school, picking my mom up for lunch. I'll never set foot in one again.
They don't care. They defy SCOTUS, they defy Congress, nothing ever happens. And nothing will happen they will retain their power and they know how.

I get that the VA should not have any power to determine guns rights based on if a veteran has a fiduciary. With that said, the VA has no authority to deny or enforce anything. That would be the current administration and the FBI.

The VA completely IS this current administration, and deep state swampy government under any other leadership. It's a fucking cesspool staffed with the worst of all the bureaucrats.
It's always been a shitbag agency. It's one of the only agencies where people can make more than the president with bonuses and other bullshit. Executives get PAID, making way more than typical ses from other agencies. VA should be disbanded and every vet just cut a check and free Healthcare from any provider in nation. Would be cheaper in the long run and wouldn't enrich assholes.

yes a champus like setup would be better. vets wouldn't have to be pushed into going to some big city for care. would also eliminate another bunch of corrupt,useless bureaucrats. would avoid the university contact garbage. might be able to get connected to a personal DR. however,LOL with that. finding a worthwhile GP nowadays is hardly poss vet or not. just corp "group" setups.
