What do you find works best in a vibratory tumbler like the Dillon CV-2001? Coarse, medium, or fine? Corn cob or walnut or a mix? Any tips or tricks? Any polisher additive like Flitz or Dillon Rapid Polish? What about adding dryer sheets?

I use crushed walnut, not sure on coarseness. I add some metal polish every now and then and used dryer sheets.
I think I’m currently using franford arsenal polish but I have used a few different types, what ever is the cheapest at the time.
Walnut cleans faster than corn for me and seems to last longer.

Let's beat it some more and make sure it's dead. Any thing new need to know about other than wet tumbling?
Use horrible freight ground walnut and car polish. Use a rolled up screen and pour through with a fan blowing across it, helps get rid of dust.

For cleaning range pickup brass, it's 1/2 walnut, 1/2 corn. Half cap of NuFinish. Dryer sheet cut in half. Tumble for 2 to 4 hours.
For shining up brass after loading, it's 100% corn and a half cap of NuFinish. Tumble for 30 minutes or so.
