I have posted here on this before, once or twice a year we run our Military Bolt Gun shoot. It's open to any military bolt gun, in as issued condition.
It's a simple match, 10 rounds each stage: 50 yd offhand 100 yd bench and 150 yd prone from one of the berms. This time around we added the bunker target. It's a 4 inch black line to simulate firing into a machine gun bunker.
We had a light turnout this time around, but the firing line had all kinds of great old rifles. Th Arisakas, Swedish and German mausers, Swiss rifles, M-39 Finns and a few 03's.
To keep the shooters on their toes, we had them shoot the bunker stage from the overturned benches. It's a lot of fun, lot's of ball breaking, and some decent shooting.
