I was looking for an entry level priced compact scope for the FA-91.
I wanted:
1) Enough eye clearance to allow for shooting in various positions (my old carcass doesn't flex like it used to...).
2) Sit forward enough to not get eyebrow doughnuts, and rearward enough to allow for charge handle clearance.
The Vixen 2-8x32 has 4 inch eye clearance and is 9.8 inches in length, and is $200.00 on eBay. It sits on the rail nicely between iron sight and charge handle.
It has nice fumble-finger-friendly full size adjustment knobs, and looks like it really is 1/4 MOA per click. First sight in shot was 1.5" left at 25 yds, and 24 clicks brought the second shot right on the bullseye.
Obviously I haven't done the thorough testing I see for other scopes on this sight, but thought I'd put it on the radar as it might be a nice mid/low priced scope, especially for a compact.
I welcome any other feedback y'all may have.
