Volqaurtsen 10/22 screws

Searched and zero results oddly enough.

Any of y'all run volqaurtsen action screws in non-volqaurtsen rifles? The screw is probably 3/16" shorter than factory and only has about 3-3.5 threads engaged.

Seeing mixed results online.

Doesn't help with your question, but I have Kidd action screws in Six of Seven 10/22 rifles. Overall length 1 1/8"...it says "overall", I would guess that includes the head?

Those are pretty long, Kidd action screws don't have full threads.

Edit add: are thoseV-Block screws for the barrel?

Oh. Yeah I guess they are. Sorry, it's been a while since I built that 10/22.

They will work as the torque setting is only around 10 in lbs for this screw. I always used a longer screw cutting it off until i had full engagement without bottoming out in the receiver. That way I could increase torque if need be. With only 3 to 3.5 threads you need to be very careful not to over torque. as these aluminum receiver threads are easily stripped!
