Rifle Scopes Vortex 6.5-20x44 for an M1A Loaded? Total Scope Newb Here.

I can buy a lightly used Vortex 6.5-20x44 with sunshade for $400 shipped. I'd really like to jump on the sale as I'd get the scope by the end of the week.

Being a scope newb, is this a decent scope for an M1A? It has good reviews but I imagine most are from 223 and bolt 308 guns. I worry maybe there is more force on the M1A and could mess the scope up.

I ran that scope on my M1A loaded for about a year. It worked just fine.

I have both a Sadlak mount and the M14.ca CASM, either works fine. I've since moved the scope to my bolt gun and the M1A is waiting on a 3ish-10ish scope with FFP.
