Vortex Diamondback Spotting Scope - Feedback or Reviews?

With a $400 budget for just the scope, already have a great tripod, the options are limited. Vortex has always been very pleasing, but I have never looked through a Diamondback rifle or spotter scope. Any reviews or feedback on the Diamondback spotter? General use. Paper at 100, 200 and maybe 300. Steel out to 600 to 800. Game out to 600.

I don't think the Diamondback spotting scopes have been released yet... I'm interested too.

According to a conversation I had with Vortex the other day they should be available the first week in April

Any news on this spotter? Anyone see one yet? I'm trying to hold my purchase until I can see one. It is either this or the Leupold Ventana.
