I have owned a couple of them. For the money they are good scopes. However...
1) At low power the reticle is very hard to see; especially in low light.
2) If you want to shoot long distances, you may not get enough elevation adjustments out of the turret for the amount of holdover you may need depending on the round.
3) Resale value sucks.
My suggestion is to buy once cry once. The Viper PST series is a good buy. You can get a little more elevation adjustment out of the scope. The illuminated reticle is a necessity; especially with FFP scopes at low power.
Sure the Viper scopes are more expensive but worth what you pay for them. I have never regretted my purchases.
I don't know about the resale value of the Viper scopes because I don't want to sell them.
