Vortex LRF. Send it in?

So I recently got this Rangefinder and didn't notice at first because it's only noticeable with a dark background. There are small spots, I assume on the lens that projects the readout because objective and eyepiece lenses are clear.
Not normal, correct? Should I send it in or is that opening a can of worms? Can't see it in daylight.

If you can't see it under normal operating conditions and it's not affecting the function then I'd let it do.

Rest assured that if it weighs on your conscience then Vortex will probably be more than happy to take care of you.

Thanks for that. Went a little deeper and realized it's worse when the brightness is all the way up (level 5).
2-3 is more comfortable and the dots not as pronounced if at all.
Think I'll let it be for now.
