I am currently narrowing my list of scopes to the Vortex Razor HD AMG 6-24x50 - MOA, and a Schmidt Bender PMII 5-25x56 DT P4FL2-MOA SFP 1/4 MOA .
I am looking for the best all around scope for a Vodoo gun works ridgeback. I am looking to get back into shooting after going through near fatal bone caner. I have no experience with either scope, and looking for advice on what scope would be the better investment for the long run, good quality glass , quality construction , and accurate adjustability.
I know that the reticle on the S&B is second focal plane and the razor is ffp, I like both reticles on each in moa (what I'm more aclamated to using).
I will mostly be using the rifle for target, some silloette and varmint eradicating, I might even try my hand at some bench rest shooting at a later date.
I would like to know what your thoughts would be on these two scopes or other suggestions. My budget is about $2300, both scopes can be purchased for almost the same price ($2249 for the S&B PMII, and $2173 for the Razor).
Thank you for any information that you can give me, I always respect the knowledge base on the hide to steer me in the right direction.
