Looking for a lightweight scope for my Barrett Fieldcraft 6.5cm. Sportsman is closing them out at $399. I went and looked at them today. I was very impressed with optic clarity. It looks like I can reset the turret if I decide to dial (most likely will just use the reticle 95% of the time). Have any of you guys have good or bad reports? Most my shots will be under 600 and the reticle goes out to 24moa. Should be plenty of reticle usage.

Anything at that price point beat these?

I currently have a 2-10, and had a 3-15.

Excellent eye box, one of the easiest scopes to get behind that I’ve used. Very good glass at their MSRP, untouchable at the current prices. The turrets suck though...they obviously aren’t made for dialing shots, but they are exceptionally bad. It’s definitely a scope you want to set and leave alone.

For a light weight hunting scope, at a very reasonable price...they are hard to beat. If they ever add an illuminated reticle model without adding much weight, I’ll buy more.

Sportsmans Warehouse is closing out. Euro optic may still have closeouts??

I have a 3-15 HSR-4 and really like it for what it is. I’ve dialed it out beyond 1,000 yards several times just out of curiosity of tracking & return to zero -it did just fine (although it’s only an anecdotal amount of data).

do you have a link? This is all I found

Could they be gone already?

Maybe the deal is only in store? I thought I'd gotten a great deal for $530 nearly two years ago....the prices the HD LH is/has been going for on closeout is incredible.

I saw the 1.5-8 on Amazon a week or two back for right around $350...I went back to purchase it a few minutes ago, and it’s up to $516. Guess I’ll have to keep an eye on them if the price fluctuates that much.

Yeah, I've been tracking all of them on Amazon. I've been tempted to purchase more of them but I've been addressing other priorities in my scope lineup that have been more pressing. It's difficult to say "no" to such a great bargain.

Stopped by my local Sportsman's Warehouse and confirmed they have the 2-10x40 Razor LH on clearance for $399.99. They had both reticles in stock (picked up their last G4).

Hopefully a 3-18 amg that is not an ultrashort. Ultra shorts don’t have the best glass.
Hopefully that’s in addition to and not a total replacement. The hd lh did a great job bringing a relatively lightweight well made scope with great glass to the hunting world. There is still a place for SFP in that world, I’ve about given up finding a FFP scope that doesn’t drive me insane in low light low mag situations.

This scope with the G4 reticle is $444 on amazon currently

I'm really struggling between getting one or getting a 3-15 or SHV later. Would this 2-10 be good for a Tikka T3x lite in 3006 for deer/pigs/elk out to say 300 yards? I don't even have my hunting rifle yet, but I don't want to miss a good deal if this is good enough for my needs. Any input is welcome.

I would save money and go with the 2-10!! Especially if only shooting out to 300 yards. I was hitting 18in steel plate at 800 yards with my 2-10. It’s the not the best for extended range (600+) but hitting vitals 300 will be easy. That scope is extremely bright and very easy to get behind.

Just for hunting and your not dialing the razor will be great to 400 or 500yr, if you are going to dial past 600 yr the night force would be ideal. Also what model SHV are you looking at? I have the 4-14 f1 moar.
