Rifle Scopes Vortex Razor modification question

I know Vortex offers a mod to the Razor ocular, but what does it do exactly.

I've searched and my google-fu, search ninja skills just aren't finding it.

Does it fix some of the eyebox complaints that the scope had early on?

Yes, very much so.

I have an old and a new occular on my 2 Razors. I'm awaiting a second set of 35mm rings to come in and then I'll be doing some testing to see if I can quantify the differences for a review.
