Rifle Scopes Vortex strike fire 2

Had one. Dot was an infinity symbol under the Vortex 3x mag. Worked good for the price, for large plinking stuff. I've always had great luck with Vortex, but I couldn't look at that sorry excuse of a "dot"
I have a bushnell trs-25. The dot is nice and round. I'm going to call vortex in the morning. My first clue should have been the dead battery.
Shit happens. Vortex will take care of you.
In current day and age, we are swamped with a bunch of very decent red dot sights.
Aimpoint is probably still king of the hill overall, but they are expensive. Same for the new Trijicon MRO.
I really like Shield SIS, personally, and it is a little less money. Mine has been absolutely bulletproof.
If you are looking in the $250 range, Vortex's Spark AR is a good option as are the numerous Holosun red dots. I have a HiLux MM2 that has not skipped a beat for a good number of years now and it is priced right around there as well.
I have not tested it myself, but SwampFox Liberator at around $150 is getting good reviews.

Aren't the Sig Romeo 5 red dots gtg? Never looked at one, but just what I have heard. I would still do my research if I was looking at a budget like that. They can be had for under $200.

As far as the red dot goes......This doesnt sound normal to me. Could you possibly get a picture of the multiple dots you are seeing and post it here(or private message me)?

You'll like the SparcAR. As stated earlier, it was my upgrade from Strikefire2. I experienced a similar situation with mine (figure 8 dot), so I upgraded. Strikefire2 is still in use, just on a beater that someone else owns.
I have a Strikefire II on my AR and it's perfect for me. There are better red dots with smaller dots and other stuff I don't need starting at 2X the price. I think in terms of performance to $ the Strikefire II isprobably the lowest priced decent red dot out there.
Perfect absolute co witness with my iron sights. Battery lasts a long time, nice variable brightness. I got the red only version instead of selective dot color version. For fast hits on man sized targets out to 100 yards it rocks. I love mine.

My original Strike fire lasted a couple years of carbine competition use where it got banged around quite a bit. One day it wouldn't power on and the rubber cover that holds the power button guts felt crunchy inside. I sent it in and they replaced it with a Strikefire 2. That one lasted about 3 range trips where it only went into a soft case and was not abused and something broke inside the soft rubber cover again. I never even opened the replacement, sold it new in box. I wouldn't buy one again. For a budget option my couple TRS25s haven't given me issues, even mounted on a gas tube mount on a VZ58 that gets really hot. The TRS26 looks like a great option with the long battery life but I've never seen one in person.

I have the bushnell tsr25 on my 12 gauge. It can take 3 inch mag recoil. My spit fire came in today. My first impression is I like it. The dual ring reticle does not need illumination for day time use. The focus is sharp. The BDC turret cap is cool. It has great eye relief so it is mounted way out. Lastly the size of the tube makes both eyes open shooting easier for me. Scott.
I got to try the spitfire today. The turrets felt good. Not squishy, good clicks. The dot is 2 moa. I set up a target at 100 yards with a 2 inch orange dot to zero. It was cool, the red dot would cover the orange dot. Gently yank trigger, boom. Overall I would say buy one. Scott.

Decent red dot for the price. I'm more of a fan of the micro red dots myself, like the Sparc or the Crossfire, but any will get the job done for you.
