Gentlemen,
I recently purchased a slightly modified Mk12 Mod 0 Clone from a close friend. Im very familiar with the weapon system, however it was sold to me with a Vortex Viper 5x15 x 44mm scope on it. Ive done quite a bit of looking and even contacted some of my clone nerd buddies and nobody can seem to give me any kind of background or information on this Vortex. Im currently active duty infantry and even some of my work associates who are familiar with the rifle or even carried it in country have never seen or herd of the rifle being configured with this optic. Unfortunately the friend i purchased it from received the optic in a trade and doesn't have any factory documentation or info on it. As previously stated its a 5x15x44mm with Mil adjustments (1/10th to be precise) and a standard Mil Dot reticle. Please help a dumb crayon eater get some background history on this damn optic. Am i completely overlooking some general knowledge on this thing? Any input is greatly appreciated.
If it would help to post pictures let me know
Thanks guys
Matt
