Lap those rings and make sure the nuts are facing left. You sure wont be dissapointed in the PST good buy.

I ordered the Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP EBR-1 mil/mil today from CS Tactical. Now to find a good match for it. I was thinking along the lines of this for a base:
Badger 306-06SAT Sat S/A for rifles w/ Accutrigger, 20 MOA.
I will be attaching this to a Savage FCP-K .308. Now, to find a good set of rings!
I ordered the Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP EBR-1 mil/mil today from CS Tactical. Now to find a good match for it. I was thinking along the lines of this for a base:
Badger 306-06SAT Sat S/A for rifles w/ Accutrigger, 20 MOA.
I will be attaching this to a Savage FCP-K .308. Now, to find a good set of rings!

Badger is a good choice, but if you want to save a bit of $ and have the option of whatever cant you want in just as nice of a base go with www.murphyprecision.com, he will make it to your specs for no additional charge and had a 3 day lead time max three weeks ago when I ordered.
For rings, go http://americanrifle.com/scope_rings and dont look back

I always like to save a little cash, as long as I'm not sacrificing quality and usability. I like the murphyprecision base, that thing looks durable. The rings look nice too but at $200, ouch. They are nice though.

TPS or EGW HD Base for $60 and Burris XTR Rings for about the same. All you need, completely reliable, and they don't cost an arm and a leg like the other guys.

I agree, I have the EGW HD 20moa base and I <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic"><span style="text-decoration: underline">LOVE</span></span></span> it. Right now I have a scope that is only staying on there for a couple months, a Vortex Crossfire 6-24x50 (which I am REALLY impressed with btw), mounted with some Weaver tactical rings (which are pretty nice). I think I am going with the Burris Xtreme Tactical rings for my PST though in a couple months....
