I’ve heard vortex has a pretty good warranty. I have an old model viper spotting scope. It is basically unusable after the last 5 seasons of hard use. If it is no longer a product they stock will they upgrade to the newest generation?

Yes, I believe they will. They will also let you pay an upgrade fee (depends on how much more the new item costs) and let you upgrade to a better model. They let me upgrade my discontinued and damaged Viper HS for a new Strike Eagle 5-25x56 EBR-7C MIL scope for $99. Worth every penny to upgrade from a $500 scope I bought 10 years ago, to a new production $799 scope for only $99.
