Does anyone have any experience with a Vudoo in the XLR Envy Chassis? I am looking for recommendations on what contour and length balances the best with adding the least amount of weight to the chassis. Kukri or MTU in 18” or 20”? I like a balance point right in front of the magwell.

Got one with 20" MTU barrel.
Been playing around with weights on the forend. Pictured here it has the internal and external weights.

Need to go back to the bench and play around with it some more, looking for perfect balance and less weight...

On the other hand, i do like them heavy

Thanks thats what i was looking to do. I noticed the but pad must have changed on the XLR Envy pros. Mine looks like Littlepod’s. Badjuju I wonder if they use a different buttpad for the Envy pro JV model.

Yeah, definitely looks different...it's not as comfortable as other chassis I've tried, kind of "digs in"...

Littlepod....I'm assuming you bought the attachments and then bipod feet separately?

I sent my XLR Envy back to XLR to measure the Aluminum mag and do some inletting work to get it to fit. They wouldn't fit out of the box.

So if you're planning on running the Envy with Vudoo/Aluminum mags, I'd call them up and ask them to inlet the mag well to fit the alu mags.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I just received my Vudoo in an Envy Pro and am having the same issue. Could you PM me the same info about XLR fixing it? Tried to send a PM, but kept getting an error.

After XLR worked the Envy chassis to fit the aluminum Vudoo mags, have you experienced issues with the plastic 10-rounders?

I wanted to chime in my experience.

No issues with the latest generation (thanks to @CSTactical ) of the XLR Envy JV Pro chassis using V22 aluminum magazines on a V360.

I will admit that any acting force on the magazine will cause feeding issues. However, that’s just the inherent nature of a chassis system lacking an adjustable magazine catch and the lack of fine-tuning capability on the Vudoo magazines.
