Vudoo Gun Works V-22 Rimfire Bolt Action

Does anyone know if there is an adaptor or magazine insert that can be used to convert the V22 repeater action to single shot for occasional small-bore F-Class competition, etc.?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Currently, there isn't, but I'm designing the single shot adapter so you can switch back and forth.

Range Day was awesome. The first 20 rounds out of the 17.5" Lothar Walther prove to be very promising with Eley Black Box. I also tested Eley Force and the group sizes were impressive (forgot to take pics of the targets ).

I have been watching this thread for a month now and I’m going to have to break down and become a owner of a Vudoo

Thats a great color combo and sexy rifle. What was the MV of the black box in that gun?

Thanks Tony. I wasn't paying much attention to the LabRadar while shooting and didn't realize until I started packing up that it wasn't triggering (my fault). I'll gather data on the next trip.

Got an email late Saturday afternoon that my barreled action would ship today. Really appreciate the fact that someone is working weekends to get these rifles out the door. I've called 2 or 3 times during the process and a real human always picks up the phone. They always had my info right at their fingertips. It just doesn't get any better. So yeah, I'm a Vudoo fan.

Re-tested today and paid more attention to the LabRadar. The average of seven shots with Eley Black Box was 1102 FPS with an ES of 15. I’’ll post results with Eley Force, Lapua Center X, Lapua X-Act and SK as I test them.

That’s good to hear. Paul and Jay have been in the shop from 8a to 11p mostly seven days a week (when they’re not at the Vudoo Rimfire Series) and I’m in the lab from roughly 3:30a to 6a, then 4p to around 9p. Rifles and barreled actions are shipping, drilling down on the backlog and getting new stuff in the works. Reach out anytime if you need anything/have questions.

Picked up my barreled, Timmney triggered action yesterday. First range report I've ever written so take it easy on me. Got an email that it was inbound, well marked for the FFL to know it was mine. Well packaged. Shipped with the business card. I measured that group at .246". Mounted in a MPA chassis. Bushnell ERS 6-24x50. Sparrow can. I shot it with Aguila standard velocity and Aguila subs. I've got a several bricks of each. I don't want to spend more than 10 cents a round on my .22 ammo so I was hoping it would work. They both shot .540 at 25yds. I'll get out to 100 and beyond in a few days. Shooting was very comfortable, I felt like I was behind my 6.5 minus the recoil. The trigger is perfect, set at 2 lbs, as requested. I never even thought about the trigger while I was shooting. The only thing that is going to take some practice getting used to is the shorter bolt throw. I found myself not being able to finish closing the bolt because I was still pushing forward. My 6.5 is in the same chassis, Big Horn TL2, 24" Bartlein by Mile High. The Vudoo weights in at 13.2 with can. The Big Horn weights in at 14.8 with can. So pretty close. It's everything I expected, can't wait to spend some quality time at the range.

Figured out how to size files. I forgot to mention my barrel is 20" I can't remember the name of the contour, I told them I had a medium palma , and they took care of it.

USAFA, that's a nice looking setup. Thanks for sharing.
I'm glad to see these in the wild. I ordered one a short while ago and have a few weeks left to wait. Can't wait to hear more range reports and see what everyone is thinking about these as they get more familiar with them.

Drove down to Hutch here in Kansas yesterday morning to shoot Jeremy's last 22RF PR match of the season - and to see his new V-22 rifle. Shot the match with my jelrod-converted 40XB repeater, then ran a magazine full of SK Rifle Match through Jeremy's V-22 at the 'test your limits' plate rack at 226yds. He has an Athlon Ares 4.5-27x50 that I sold him mounted, which I found to be a very nice match for his new custom 22RF rifle. After shooting at the largest plate in the rack & getting the scope zeroed for me, I made three consecutive hits on the 2" plate with the Vudoo. Jeremy's a big guy, and had found the LOP of the OEM Grayboe stock too short for him, so had moved the bbl'd action over into his McM A4. The A4 didn't fit me very well at all, and he's got his trigger set at a much heavier value than the 8oz I have the Jewells set for in my 40Xs, Plus, since he'd just gotten the rifle set up late the afternoon before - in cool, wet drizzle - and hadn't had a chance to test various lots of the SK Rifle Match ammo he was using, I was very impressed with the rifle's accuracy. I thought I had my two jelrod-converted 40Xs running pretty well, but the V-22's feeding was notably better/smoother than my rifles, and remained so even when running the bolt slower than I would normally run mine.

You can bet I'm going to be checking my email several times a day for notification of when my V-22 action ships....

Stayed home today waiting for my FFL to call. 1235 get a message that my Vudoo was there and ready for pick up. 1252 I was knocking on his door. Raced home and dropped it into my Manners folder with mini chassis and was off to the range to have some fun with my Vudoo. Started working on testing some different ammo and see what we will focus on feeding it.

Rifle is a work of art and shot everything pretty well it didt like the Eley Force ammo at all.

Next trip out it wil get dropped into my .22 BR rest and more testing. Enjoy my day 1 pics with this awesome rifle.

Thank you Vudoo for this awesome rifle and guys I highly recommend if your looking for a accurate .22 look no further.

Received mine last week. Threw some glass on it and fought the NE Ohio cold both Saturday and Sunday. Just trying different ammo I would say I now have over 200 rounds down range. The rifle is silky smooth and the mags are just awesome! So far the best groups in not idea conditions have come from SK Rifle Match and Wolf Extra Match. She didnt seem to like the Laupa Center X at all to my surprise. Pictured groups are all 5-shot at 50 yards. Black circle is 1 inch and the red dots are 1/2 inch for reference.

Looks great Nomad, but it might need more scope! Got mine out to distance for the first time today. First round hit at 400 yds on a 12" piece of steel. Aguila standard. 19 mils of elevation. I got the 20 moa rail, but ran out of elevation in my Bushnell ERS. had to hold 6 mils on the reticle which worked fine. Approximately 23 ft. of correction, kind of crazy. Lots of fun to shoot, glad I got it.

Only the best scopes go on my RIfles. The 3-18 is perfect scope it allows me great low end power for close shots.

Can’t wait to get home from work have some V22 tinkering to do tonight.

Congrats! Just picked mine up yesterday and it's awesome. Unfortunately everything I own is boxed up for my move so I won't be able to shoot it for a couple weeks but just knowing it's there is nice lol

Another one ready to go:

V-22 Apparition
Custom JAE-700 Chassis
19" Vudoo Cut Rifled KUKRI Contour Barrel
RAVAGE 22LR Match Chamber
Timney 520 CE Adjustable

About 60 days. But thats going to continue to grow as they are getting alot of orders. Call the shop they will give you a solid lead time.

I have been following this thread very closely and it looks like this is the week I will have all the money and will FINALLY order a Ravage
Hopefully I'm still within the first 500 orders, the plan is to put the $100 savings towards extra mags...
Thank for all the information everyone has been posting here!
