I recently bought a used Vulcan V50 Tactical rifle, Just wondered since mine seems to be a good shooting, accurate, and reliable rifle if they got their stuff together and started putting out some good 50's or whether I just got a good one, I know I've read horror stories all over the internet about the V50's of course after I'd already laid my money down. My rifle has the 3 lug bolt, all metal stock and tubular forarm... wish I could improve the ergonomics of it some, it feels ok but it is certainly sin ugly in some aspects, a full forearm with a lower rail for bipod mounting would have been a nice addition as well as a little nicer design on the buttstock with a full cheek rest and as much as I know it's impractical I'd like a sling mounting option for it as well.

Sell it, get rid of it as soon as possible!! It's a horror story waiting to happen!! I'm not kidding!! I had one and I vowed to help others relieve themselves of this stuff!!

What kind of failures have been experienced, I've heard people have had trouble, but no one ever specifies what the problem was, I bought mine used, the previous owner estimated over 100 rounds through it, I've put 20 or better through it so far, no problems yet, shoots good as well.

OP, if you read horror stories on the internet about vulcan then why did you buy it. Bottom line, vulcans are cheaply constructed, porly fitted, and could quite literally go kaboom.

Cactus, I didn't start reading until after the deal was done, it was one of those the price is right, been wanting one things, bought it on site with no research on it at all. Local gun shop sang its praises to be on par with any of the pull bolt rifles out there. wasn't until I got it home and started looking around about it to customize to my tastes that I figured out I was possibly in hot water with it..
