The UN, Saudi Arabia, Quattar, UAE, Iran open their bank accounts and set up a safe zone in some "peaceful" portion of Syria. Tell every "peaceful" Syrian, ie no military age males, to get to the safe zone. US and Russian firepower, back the middle eastern troops that will protect the safe zone. Everyone in the safe zone is protected by drones, cruise missles, US/Russian air power and Middle Eastern troops on the ground. The rest of the country becomes a free fire zone and they can use gas if they choose to do so. It will get this shit over quicker so that the last man standing can be made winner and start rebuilding his country.

my only concern with the US is that i dont want us getting too sympathetic to the cause were we start talking in more refugees because of it. Let them destroy Germany all they want. save the scope companys with the good german glass but the rest i am not too worried about.

Russia supposedly got all the chemical weapons from Syria, either they lied or played the Russians for fools, Putin comes up for election next year, he can't appear to be weak to the US now, but if Assad stays in power after lying to Putin or playing him for a fool. A lot of people around Putin end up dead. My guess is if the US has to strike again, Assads ass is going to blow up with whatever building he is in. Russia will rattle sabers but allow it while they put in someone they want to deal with , while letting the world see Assad is now gone from the playing field. Puzzles me how the press isn't pushing the story line more of why their were still chemical weapons in Assads possession though,it's chess, not checkers.

To restore N/K, after we off the kid would be my guess. Regardless of what the media says China only uses them to poke us as there is no real loved for N/K. China has to keep pumping them up which is a huge drain on their economy. Would they back them in a US N/K conflict? I really don't think so. Remember they need us worst than they need N/K. No they are not, an I have first hand memory's of same.
My first OS duty station was at Camp Wilbert B-1/8th Cav in 1965. That Camp is in the spoonbill which is land locked to N/K via the imjin river. Many a night while on S/O H/K or ambush we would be entertained by the ROK troops. They would build fires on/above the MDL an sing how they hated N/K, an their lack of balls to come out an play. One night N/K rolled out every speaker they had an tried to sink them up to broadcast their normal B/S., The ROK guys had them so pissed, the message they tried to send was so fucked up I think every guy (American & ROK ) in the zone that night busted out laughing. I know when we went south of the river after that, we were ask by many guys what the hell was going on up there that night to stir the N/K's up that bad. I always had respect for the ROK guys, but more so when we teamed up again in other lands of fun. Back then they sure as hell knew how to push the N/K button.
