Rifle Scopes Weaver tactical or Millett base?

I'm in the process of "remodeling" my rem. 700 7mm rem mag. I was looking at reasonably priced one piece 20moa bases. I've found the weaver tactical and the millett are pretty much the best I can afford right now. Any opinions on which is better?

i like the weavers, EGW is also in the the price tag as well....

+1 for weaver and EGW. The EGW HD is a little slimmer and doesnt add as much height as well.

Dunno about the Millet. Have the weaver, its a decent unit, has a recoil lug, I have no plans of upgrading, I can envision no tangible gain.

i have weavers and EGW both are good, the weavers look a bit better with the full lug

Guys, one more reason to buy the Weaver tactical mounts is that they are Made in USA!

I have a weaver, so far, I like it, a lot. Good price, and a solid base.
