Rifle Scopes Weaver Tactical scopes

I have the 5-30x56. I don’t think they make it anymore but it’s built like a tank by LOW. Simple reticle but an amazing zero stop and toolless zeroing.

Great scopes, I keep putting their 3-10x40 grand slam tactical on all my new rifles because of the price they are being sold on eBay. You won’t get a better scope for 200$.

I have owned a couple of their 3-10 GS tactical for a few years and even used one in a PRS match. They have never given me any issues and the glass is very good considering the price. Only downside is they don't have a ton of travel.

I have the Weaver 4-20 Mil/Mil and am perfectly happy with it. Looking to pick up their 3-15 in the near future.

I've owned several of these scopes, from the 30mm 3-15x50 & 4-20x50 up to a couple of the 34mm 6-30x56s. Glass is good in all, but due to my failure to pay close attention when ordering the 3-15x50, I wound up with the #800362, which has a mil reticle, but MOA knobs. I don't see this model listed on their website any longer - but the #800363 is, and it has mil/mil reticle/knobs. They're all weak in the reticle dept, and the 30mm scopes have 5 mil/revolution turrets & no zero stop, which is not a really good combination. The 6-30x56 does have a zero stop, and for the price I paid while Midway was running a clearance on them several years ago, they were a good value. I've hung onto the two 6-30x56 models - they're mounted on 284 & 280AI LR rifles. AFAIK, these are all still made in Japan, and are quality scopes in the traditional sense - it's just a shame that Weaver doesn't have the resources to update the reticles, & put 10 mil turrets and zero stops on the 30mm models.

I can't seem to find any 1-7 Weaver Tac scopes for sale online for a cost comparison. I have found the 1-5 they offer for about $700. The listed retail on the weaver site is approx. $1200.

Anyone have experience with Weavers Tac line of optics? I have a line on one of their 1-7 scopes and looking for input. I haven't found much online. Thanks

Never handled the 1-7 but have looked at the 3-15 and I have one of the 6-30. Its a nice scope, "optically" i would put it in the same glass quality as an NXS. I cant really speak for its durability, but it does seem very well built. It seems to track spot on. Downsides are the reticle and it is big and heavy. Mine came from natchez last year on a closeout, and with the additional discounts i got it for 700 shipped, at that price id say it was a steal. I would not of paid their original aski g price of $1500 or so though. As the other member posted they are no longer sold by weaver, but maybe a few out there at retailers. Im sure the 1-7 was a japanese made scope as well, so i would imagine its of good quality as well.
