A guy with a backpack goes and pops caps at a security guard at the Family Research Council in DC. Guard gets shot but manages to tackle the shooter anyway and is on the mend.

Here's the weird part. Aside from some spare ammo, there were fifteen Chick-fil-a sandwiches in the shooter's backpack. Fifteen? No waffle fries?

LOL- Talk about some irony there...

But damn do I ever want a chick-fil-a order right now... including two sammaches and about 10 orders of nuggets. Wish they would expand to michigan.

EDIT: OH SHIT!!!! Just found out there is one on the campus of oakland university! I'm going on a road trip!

Re: Weird shooting in DC

When the story was originally reported the article I read was very well done: a rarity. The reporter said that "Chick Fil-A material was found on his person but not whether is was documentation, wrappers, or a napkin" and didn't use the words high powered and pistol together. Other than that it is a pretty odd story...I mean was he going to force feed them CFA sandwiches and gay sex them or what?
