Funny, in this day and age, I doubt the Garp script would look anywhere near the same, nor do I think John Lithgow would be willing to play the part for fear of SJW backlash.

I keep looking for the SNL skit of Al Franken committing suicide because he was a conflicted gay. I suspect all copies of it have been rounded up and destroyed. Wouldn't want that little part of Franken's history to rear it's ugly head, what with him now being a "respectable" senator and all.......

Actually, got it to work, Thanks again, had been looking for that for a long time.

I just find it very interesting (nee, hypocritical) that no one ever trashes him for this skit, which could/should be considered gaybashing. And after having made a paycheck from this "entertainment", he is now a "shining light" representing (among others) gay people and their "struggles"........If there was a statue of Franken anywhere, would it be on a list to be torn down/destroyed ?

I would guess that Blazing Saddles wouldn't be made today and there would be a little less to smile about in the world because of PC.
