anyone going out this weekend? or been out the last day or so? im hunt just north of Abilene and might try and sneak out there. First week in december cold drizzly should be interesting. your thoughts?

Hey dude! I'm in the stand as I type this here in Bronte, south of Abilene. Cold and misty. Nothing's moved all day really, not even birds. Saw a 4 pointer I let go and a doe that moved between the trees too fast to get a shot first thing this morning. Was bitchin' windy and cold at first light, now it's about as still as it gets here and 40 degrees. Just cold and damp. Hope to see something before the sun goes down, gonna be even colder and wetter tomorrow.

UPDATE: Got a doe this morning while walking around. Things were up and moving today after the rain came through, was actually really nice out today. I'll make a post when I get back to Tarrant county.
