What do you think?

Debating about a new build, I have a 6.5 Lapua that shoots in the .1’s and .2’s and a reworked 308 that’s in the .2’s and .3’s. So here’s the question, what will a new 308 do that the 6.5 wont?....Trying to justify the new 308 build, when I already have a one. That damn stiller group buy and the fact that I want a McMillan A-5. I like the Manners T2-A on my Lapua, but have always wanted an A-5. Any thoughts….If not a 308 then what? I thought about a 300 Win Mag…Maybe 338, though I can really only shoot out to around 600 in my area, 800 Max (maybe)

If you compete, the .308 will allow you to compete in F/TR matches. 6.5 is F-Open and you're competing with hotter calibers like 6.5-284.

i think a 308 falls out of the sky at 476 yards, give or take, so i'd go bigger, bigger is always better my momma always said

If they wont be the same barrel length then it's a good enough excuse for me.
