What height rings? Ruger Precision Rimfire?

I was thinking 10/22 but looked it up just to be sure and you've got a much more high speed rifle it seems (wish I'd known about it before built this integrally suppressed Kidd, but I can't bitch, it's a really nice rifle). Anyway, it looks like the rail and clearance on most AR's and with a 50mm obj., you have 25mm from the obj. to the centerline of the optic (but it's be more accurate if you measured the OD and then divide that by two to get the proper number). So saying it's 25mm that's .9 something so you'd probably need a ring at least a smidge higher than your rail to centerline height in order for it to fit, saying the handguard is the same height as the rail. If not, add that height in there too.

I usually use 1.5 on AR's and it's for CNVD use really, but also because that height just works for me with that platform and I may be wrong but that rifle looks an awful lot like AR ergonomics and with an adj. cheekpad, you could use anything from the minimum fit on up.

Your best bet, and what you should do before you buy, is call the ring or base mfg.'s you intend on dealing with. Tell 'em what you got and what you want to do, they usually keep a database and can pull up all the models that fit. Especially if you want an MOA base because figuring out how high you need there involves a bit of trig (but I'm guessing you don't need that with a .22). Also when you call, sometimes they have discounts or specials, things you can ask for that aren't online, so that's a plus too.

Thanks. I'll probably get the scope first and measure. I'm going "budget" on this thing. It's getting a set of $25 rings.
