Gunsmithing What Mill?

I am wanting to get a mill and have 2200.00 to spend but would like to get a new one. Is there anything worth buying for that or should I save some more? I want something for general gun work, making brakes and other small jobs.

If I had $2200 for a mill, I would absolutely do some dilligent shoping and pick up a nice used Bridgeport with some tooling before I would buy a new one... That is just my opinion.

With all the smaller companies going out of business there are some good buys to be had.

After looking around I think I will go with a Bridgeport. I will get alot more machine for the same money.

Watch your local Craigslist, you'll find a Bridgeport no problem.

How nice of a mill are you looking for? Do you want/need a DRO? Also allow another 1000 to have the ways redone
