Rifle Scopes What rings and bases would you use?

I am putting together my first long range rifle. So far all I have is a harris bipod and a rem700 5R in .308. Next purchase will be rings and 20 moa base, followed by a Vortex PST 6-24 ffp.

So, as to the rings and the bases, I am looking at:

A nightforce one piece base with integral rings for about $230.

A seekins base and set of rings for about $230.

Other?

Two questions: what would you use? And are there advantages to using an integral base and rings?

Both options will work it depends on your personal preferences. Go with the NF if you are never (or seldom) likely to remove your scope from the rifle, go with the Seekin's if you are and want to standardise your rifle(s) with a pic rail.
