I've got a brand new 597 in 17HMR I bought probably in 2008. I know they were recalled but at the time I was bogged down in work and the $200 coupon off another Rem they were offering just wasn't worth the hassle, nor anywhere near what I paid. Not seeing any 22WMR replacement bbls for cheap but figure there's got to be something folks are doing with these?
