Anyone had success with the wheeler bedding products? I know devcon is best, but all I can get locally is 5 minutes stuff. I've tried marinetex but it' has to be mixed perfectly. Wheeler is 50/50 and can be thickened with silica powder that I have lots of, just wondering how durable it is. Thanks for all expert advice in the past.

Charlie has had his kits for years. Not to be obtuse, but probably since 2000. He was really ahead of the pack, quietly selling a lot of product and doing his table/demos at shot show.

FWIW, I use JB weld a lot. Works well, don't worry about shelf life, available everywhere. Its a touch thinner, but leaves a nice end result.
