Precision Rifle Gear Where Can I Find - Quad Pod for Labradar

As the title indicates, where can I find a Quad Pod to use with a Labradar? I’ve searched Arkco Machine and they are not selling them any longer. I’ve heard that Labradar might be coming out with one of their own sometime in the first 1/2 of 2021, but that time may slip, if it does happen at all.

I just received a call today letting me know my Labradar unit is shipping today, expected delivery early next week. I don’t have a tri-pod and not looking to purchase one for the Labradar. I’d like a quad base that I can setup and shoot directly under the unit, so I don’t have to mess with positioning/alignment of the unit to the degree that is needed vs. shooting under it.

I was able to shoot with a quad based Labradar once when at K&M as another shooter had the setup. It was so easy and convenient. I knew then, that is how I’d like my setup to be when I got a Labradar. Now that this day is coming, I’m striking out as where to acquirer one. I assume that there is somewhere that a quad base / quad pod can be sourced????

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I'm curious as to what the advantage is with the unit set high above the rifle on a quad, vs on the ground/bench next to the rifle on a plate mount where you virtually CAN'T turn it over and it is within easy reach to manipulate the controls without having to stand up or even leave your position on the rifle?

cheap interim solution - square foot of melamine board (plywood), drill a hole in the center and epoxy in a bolt, spin on the labradar.

Yup, that’s exactly what I did and I’m very satisfied. Not sure that their is anything better. My question is what do you use to carry the legs when not attached, when packing the unit away? I’ve ordered a pack of the junior (7”) wrist bracelets in a matching orange on Amazon.

Not sure where you saw arkco wasn’t making the bases anymore, they have two left in stock on their website.

I have one and it’s been fantastic, on a square range you could even get away without using one of the ball heads.
