Sidearms & Scatterguns Where can I find the new FNP-9 DA/SA?

Re: Where can I find the new FNP-9 DA/SA?

Stick with FN USA's website as the FN Herstal site contains products that may (or may not) be available in the USA.

The pistol pictured under "FNP" 9mm on the FN Herstal site is what is available stateside as the FNX-9.

They are all over GunBroker, Bud's, etc., etc. Try running a search for "FNX" or "FNX-9" or similar temrs and they'll pop up like crazy.

Ok that makes scence. Thanks so much for claring that up for me. Can I get a suggestion on which of the fallowing guns is better? The Fnx 9 or the M&p 9 ?

Better for...what? Carry? Defensive Pistol? Competition (what kind)? They are different pistols in MANY significant ways, so comparing them on features/options isn't a great idea. The best advice I can give you, as with all pistols/rifles/etc., is to get out to a local shop/show/range/etc. and handle them both (side-by-side if possible) to see which, if either, you prefer. Shoot them both if you can! A well-informed decision based on first-hand knowledge/experience is the BEST way to buy any firearm.

Without knowing your specific purposes though...I will tell you that you'll find more support in the aftermarket for the M&P at this point as well as with gunsmithing depending on your needs, but the FN pistols have a following that may ultimately lead to addt'l support along those lines.

OK thank you.

I have the FNP45 Competition w/ Doc Optics red dot, and I would love to see it in a 9mm variation. I can drive tacks with it. It's great!
