Looking to buy one of these beasts, done a lot of google/gunbroker searches with most showing out of stock. A few that said in stock upon calling are all sold out too. Found a few on gunbroker but curious where those of you who bought them got them from.

Anyone know a few good distributors/retailers who have or can get these rifles?

    Thanks!

LMT will sell you a better .308

I went the LMT for heavy and KAC for light ARs and don't regret it as they all shoot great. That being said-I still find myself continually looking at the SR25 and subconsciously working the math to get one. It will never happen as I'm 3 LMTs in and like I said they're all hammers but I bet that KAC heavy is a one smooth sweet rig.

Yeah I’ve looked at LMT and they seem very nice just seems to be something special about the sr25.

I've shot LMT's for years, and compared to Knights they are the same but different. I am not sure what the relationship is between the two firms is but it appears to be very close, both make an incredibly reliable 308 gas guns. IMO each firm follows a slightly different path to arrive at that end point.

LMT's bread and butter is modularity. nobody else can offer a combat proven system that can be configured any where from a 13.5 Battle rifle to a 20 inch 6.5 long range gun for simply the cost of the barrel. The only draw back is this capability comes at a cost and that cost is weight. In its lightest configuration, its about a pound heavier than a KAC.

KAC on the other hand builds some of the finest use specific 308 gas guns on the planet. There is no other weapon on the market that can offer a combat proven system that is as light and shoots as smooth as an ACC. Its only draw back is price, A KAC upper alone cost more than a complete LMT, so its not really an option for a lot of people, so gaining a 6.5 capability is going to come at a steep price tag

Both firms make awesome weapons. I recently picked up a KAC ACC, I made that choice over the APC, because I feel that my LMT's do the heavy/accurate thing a little better than the APC, both are going to be heavy and accurate, but the LMT has the ability to be more compact, and at the same time, mount a 6.5 barrel and have a legit 1200 yard capability.

This is my experience to a T-exactly agree.

I went with LMT for 308 because I have 2 lowers, 2 uppers, 4 barrels, 2 BCGs, and 2 calibers for not a whole lot more $$$ then 1 complete KAC SR25. Granted a lot of that was Black Friday stuff at near 50% off etc.

And honestly, If i had not sold my Scar 17, I probably would have not of picked up the KAC,

As long as you are ok with the weight penalty, throwing 5 grand at the LMT buys a hell of a system.

    Defender with lightweight barrel. 2200
    Spare 6.5CM Barrel 600

and still have over 2 grand to put into optics/ammo/what ever
