then use the JP bolt. Also my local store has complete BCG's in stock 189 DPMS.
It seems that the JP 308 bolt is about 0.001 to 0.002 larger in diameter at the band near the extractor pin than the DPMS bolt. I expect the JP 308 bolt was designed for the JP bolt carrier. That bolt will not work in the carrier of my RND Manufacturing 308 rifle. Just a heads up to check diameters before trying to replace a 308 bolt with a JP bolt.
I'm running 2 DPMS and a Milspec bolt carriers in 2 rifles and 1 extra upper I have had no problems. They are snug when you push the bolt all the way in but I figured that's better than sloppy.
A local gun store here in San Diego has them in stock. Look up Paralax Tactical. Last time I was in the shop Joe showed me some that had jsut come in. give them a try! I think they may even ahve some free shipping!
