Looking for a 500 - 1000 yd or greater range in North Forida, South Alabama or South Georgia. Willing to drive a couple of hours if necessary.

Google american international marksmanship academy. Supposed to open sometime next month I believe. I've got my fingers crossed that this place turns out ok.

I just called AIM Academy. They open Oct 15. 1000 yd rifle range. They're about 90 minutes from me so I will be going up there after they open.

Parker's Guns in Pearson Georgia has a 600 yarder. Cool Acres in Swainsboro GA has 1000 yards. Bradford Sportsmen's Farm has 850 yards in N. Florida, you have to qualify to shoot on it and that is 20.00 and an hourly rate. Pearson is free, that's right free, just show up. They have a nice Gun Shop.

Range 14 at Fort Gordon in Augusta, GA is open to the public on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 to 6:00 and occasional Saturdays. It goes out to 960 yards and costs $9, I think.

Best way to shoot 1,000 there is to sign up for 1,000 yard match and show up. Good bunch of guys. If you are interested PM me.

This may be a little south but check out Volusia Gun and Hunt Club near Daytona. Shot 1000yds there yesterday. Great group of knowledgable guys. Everyone is very relaxed.
On Facebook search "Volusia Long Rang Shooting". It just went up today.

Shot on their range Saturday. Only 2 people there--me and my shooting buddy. Shot 600 on our bellies first and then shot 1000 off benches after lunch. Nice range and nice setup. I believe they are having their first match in 2 weeks. Still a lot of work going on with other things. Thought some of yall might be interested.
