Advanced Marksmanship Where to Start Load Development

Ok, I've always been able to start at SAAMI Specs. Then I would adjust from there. First time I'm not able to do that. So do I start at the lands, .010", or .020" off. Any info wld be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I always start with the largest jump and work in from there.

I’ve always had great luck starting at 20 thou off if not restrained by magazine OAL with cup/core bullets.
