Going to be building another rifle for the 2025 season and am cross shopping a few different actions and chassis to go along with the build. I just sold my AT-X and have a Zeus la that I really like for the short bolt throw, smooth action and quick change ability. Had an impact and didn’t like it enough to keep.

I really dig my LA Zeus. Just didn’t know if anyone has had a chance to try all three and had a preference over the other two.
Had the Bat TR and got rid of it to keep my Lone Peaks. Got an Impact LA recently and it didn’t really do it for me, really makes me want a Zeus LA to pair with my SA.
I loved everything about the Atx besides the notchy bolt close even after being broken in which did help from new, no thumb rest, the lack of options you are limited to with chassis/triggers and also hated the keyslot that AI seems to think is better than mlok.
If you’re already liking the Zeus for its short bolt throw and smoothness, maybe stick with what works? For a chassis, are you leaning toward something similar to what you had on the AT-X or trying a different feel this time?
The biggest reason I’m looking at the cdg is because that’s what comes in the mpa Pmr setups. Feel like it’d give me a chance to try out a different action along with the vanquish/matrix chassis. Plus the price is right with those. I have an Acc elite that I like but the mpa competition chassis are definitely different and I might like to give it a go. The Vision Pro is also on my radar. Has many of the features of the Acc elite but seems more refined, more features and is stiffer being built out of 7075 aluminum but the parts availability/support is what is making me leery that particular chassis
Any of them are fine. Without your personal preference is just a dick measureing contest and everyone picks their own dick.
I've made barrels and barreled actions for customers out of every one of the options and I've done more than a couple of each.
Today the precision bolt rifle market has consumers completely overwhelmed for choices. The actions are so good these days that it is hard to NOT build a highly repeatable, highly reliable competition rifle using any of them.
If you like a short throw go with a 3 lug.
If you want a lighter bolt lift go with a 90 degree throw.
If you like interchangeable bolt heads get one of the acitons that offers those.
It's not 2007 any longer when there were less than a handful of options, what was available required being sent to a rifle builder to individually fit a barrel and if you were in a hurry your action should be delivered with a bottle of the gunsmith's favorite bottle of whiskey.
@holen'one the Xylo chassis is made from 7075 as well. If you're worried about stiffness based on the alloy of aluminum used I wouldn't be. The difference in stiffness of 6061 and 7075 is about 4% overall. This is a small enough change that you will never realize a performance change for identical geometry. The stiffer design geometry will outweigh the Young's modulus of 7075 vs. 6061 every time for shooter application.

I voted other cause I like the Impact 737 better. The Zues would be my second choice. No hands on with BAT and don't like the CDG from a builder point of view. Don't get me wrong, this is all nit picking to the highest degree. All are top of the line actions and I'm just looking for shit to complain about.
Personally I’d go with either the CDG (have one) or the Zeus.
I like ARC’s approach to engineering over fad or tradition and I think Ted’s a hoot.
I’ve had dinner with Joel Russo twice (well, I was a come along with the person Joel drove into see) and I’d trust him a great deal.
As for Vision Pro, Gulf Coast Precision offers excellent support IMO. I have an OG Vision and and that is my experience w GCP. I will be buying a Pro when I feel like getting off of the money (dem' quail hunts in GA are getting expensive lol).

How’s the bolt lift and smoothness between the two actions? I’m leaning more towards the cdg just to try something different. Ive always been curious about arc actions because of the innovation. But was put off in the past by some of their “quirks” and tweaking that some shooters had to deal with after extended use. However it seems like things have improved and they’re becoming a viable option.
