Rifle Scopes Which Badger Rings for Leupold 3.5-10x40mm

Which Badger Rings should I use for my Remington 700P SA .308 build with a Leupold 3.5-10x40 scope? They will be mounted on a 20 MOA Cant one piece Badger Rail. I see where the USMC is using the .886 or 1" rings on the M40A3. I intend to put a can on this rifle later on, so would that prohibit the use of the shorter rings?

40mm objective use the standard .823" height.
