I'm currently lugging around a folding chassis system for hunting. Way way too freaking heavy. Looking at switching out the stock for a lightweight hunter stock. Right now I'm looking at H-S and Manners lightweight options. The kicker is that I need to break down the rifle to fit it into my pelican case. I'm limited on the case as it fits in my vehicle in any orientation rather than taking up the entire cargo bay area I have with a standard size case. Any recommendations on "robustness" of the aluminum bedding blocks for repeatability? I have a torque wrench so tightening back to specs won't be a problem.
