I am looking at a new tripod. I had a really cheap light weight one that finally took a crap this year. I am mainly looking for a light weight tripod for my 27-60x85 angled spotter. I don't find myself standing up to glass and don't need a 6ft one. I am looking at these below and seeing if anyone has feedback on them.

The Sirui t-025c seems to be well reviewed as a good package with a decent head. The Slik pro also has good reviews but would need a Benro s2 head or a Sirui B-00 at additional cost. The SLIK worth the additional 100 bucks all said and done?

    Thanks,

Sirui T-025X Carbon Fiber Tripod with C-10S Ball Head & Case (Black)

So I spent most of the morning looking around and talking to some folks/companies about this. 1 Shot Gear, S&S archery, cameraland, etc, etc. Pretty much everyone said that the sirui I listed in my first point is fine for light use, but won't hold up over time like the Slik. The other recommendations I received we're all for the Promaster XC525C. After some conversation it seems the Postmaster and the Slik are the two more used and recommended for a LW packable hunting tripod in the under 300 price point. With the Benro S2 head as the most bang for the buck head to use. Figured I would post my findings after some time calling around.
