Rifle Scopes Which Optic would you get for the OBR?

Well guys I finally got the LT OBR...and I'm conflicted on which optic I should put on it. I plan to shoot no further 500 yards, with the rifle mainly doing Tactical Rifle Competitions. So basically any where from 15feet to 300 yards.

So I'm trying to figure out whether to go with a 1-4x, Acog, or Aimpoint w/mag combo. Budget is 1400 and under for it and its mount.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If it was me I'd use a Super Sniper 3-9X42 in a LaRue mount with a Burris FastFire attached. That set up would run about $1200 and do everything you want it to do.

aimpoint with mag would be an abomination for what the OBR is suited for/capable of.

im selling my TA01 4x ACOG to fund a 1-4. the 1x isnt as big of a draw as the external adjustments. im shooting paper, not people, and a dead on zero out to 600y is more important to me than simplicity of the ACOG.

despite that, i could nail clay pigeons @300y without much difficulty. and the field of view is unmatched (trading off eye relief).

Yep, the NF 2.5-10x. They are making only the 32mm model now.

Hmmm I'll have to think about that one. More mag than I wanted since I plan to run this mainly as a Battle Rifle. For precision stuff I have my SRS.

This is what I'm planning on getting when I pick up my LMT 308 MRP. I would get the "Velocity" reticle.
