Which Reticle for RF?

Looking to send a couple of Leupold EFR's in for M1 adjustment knob upgrades and wondering if there is a better reticle than the factory fine plex for field work. As long as it is in might as well consider a reticle change. My 22's currently sport Leupold 3-9 EFR's modified with the dot of death from Premier Reticles (the smallest dot they installed way back when). Wondering if I should stay with the fine plex, go to a dot, or consider another reticle Leupold offers??? Most of the shooting will be field work (cans and "stuff") and whistle pigs/ground squirrels and the like.

What are you all using that works well?

Thanks
Pat

Re: Which Reticle for RF?

I prefer the same reticle for rimfire and centerfire rifles unless it is a pure offhand rifle (silhouette). Dots are great for the field especially when the dot is about the same size as group the rifle shoots.

Unlike many, I hate the Leupold and other's duplex reticles as I cannot call my shoots well with them. Dots and German posts are better for me if the scope does not have an MPR.
